And 1 At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people, and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time; but that time will get rid of your people, every one that shall be found written in the book.
And many of them that sleep in the dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and eternamente.4 And you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the end of time; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood two others, one on this side, by the river, and the other on the other side, by the river.
And he said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river: When will be the end of these wonders?
And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, which raised to heaven his right hand and his left hand, and swore by him that liveth for ever that it would be for a time, times and half time, and when they have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
And I heard, but I understood not so I said, My lord, what will be the end of these things?
And he said, Go, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the end of time.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and put the abomination of desolation, there will be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred thirty and five days.
And thou shalt go to the end; because you shall rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the day.
