SEEING balloon is right in the eyes of the Lord to bless Israel, was not this time as before to seek omens; but he set his face toward the wilderness.
And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel, which was camped by their tribes, came upon him the Spirit of God.
And he took up his parable, and said, Speak, Balaam the son of Beor, and the man speaks with his eyes open;
He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty; Falling down, and having his eyes open:
How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
As the valleys extend, as gardens by the riverside; as sandalwood trees of the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters;
water will flow from his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters; and their king will rise higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
God brought him out of Egypt; its forces are like the wild ox; eat up the nations his enemies, and break their bones, and with his arrows the atravessará.9 couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a lioness; who shall rouse him? blessed them that bless thee, and cursed those who curse you.
And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together; and Balak said unto Balaam, to curse my enemies I called thee but now three times blessed them entirely.
Now therefore, flee to your place; I thought to honor you greatly; but behold, the LORD has kept you back from honor.
Balaam said to Balak, Did I not say to thy messengers whom you sent to me, saying:
If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can not go beyond the order of the Lord, doing good or evil of my own heart; what the LORD speaks, that will I speak?
Now, behold, I go unto my people; comes, tell thee what this people will do to your people in recent days.
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor, and the man speaks with his eyes open;
He hath said, which heard the words of God and knew the knowledge of the Most High; which saw the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open.
See you I will, but not now, I will behold him, but not near; a star out of Jacob and a scepter shall rise out of Israel, which shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Seth.
And Edom shall be a possession, Seir, its enemies, also will be a possession; Israel does valiantly.
And one rule of Jacob, and shall slay them that remain of cidades.20 And seeing the Amalekites took up his parable, and said, Amalek is the first of the nations; but his end shall be destruction.
And seeing Kenites, took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwelling, and hast set thy nest in a rock.
Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
And even uttering his parable, he said: Alas, who shall live when God does this?
And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and afflict Asshur also afflict Eber; which also shall perish for ever.
And Balaam rose, and went and returned to his place, and Balak also went his way.
